Team Derby is set for an exciting week at this year’s MIPIM, the global commercial property show held annually in Cannes.
As the UK Capital for Innovation, Derby will showcase several key projects including the the University of Derby Science Park at Infinity Park Derby. IPD will create up to 8,000 new jobs and hosts a cutting-edge research facility to support the engineering SMEs of tomorrow – the state-of-the-art iHub.
The city will also be unveiling the latest regeneration opportunities in the “heart of the city”.
Derby will be showcasing its economic strength at the Derby City Embassy, to be held at the Eden Hotel on Wednesday, 15th March, which will look at the progress made on key projects since the launch of the City Centre Masterplan.
The city will be exhibiting at MIPIM as part of the Midlands Pavilion. The Pavilion brings together inward investment agencies, Local Enterprise Partnerships and councils from across the region.
The Derby team will include representatives from Derby City Council, Marketing Derby and several private sector businesses including Smith of Derby, Freeths, Derby Telegraph, Smith Partnership, Innes England and Moorfield.
