Plans to transform Wellington House, a five-storey office building at Wellington Street in Leicester city centre have been approved by the City Council.
The 52,673 sq ft building was bought by developer Aimrok (Leicester) Ltd for £5.6m in October, who will now convert the building to deliver a residential scheme.
96 flats are to be provided. The existing lower ground floor car parking will be reconfigured to provide 18 spaces. Cycle parking for 55 bikes will also be provided.
Approval was previously granted for the conversion of the property into 83 residential flats, with there also being the option to add additional floors to the building.
