The last houses are now under construction at a new homes development in the village of Wingerworth.
Building work at Bellway’s Brailsford Park development is due to finish this summer, creating a new community of three and four-bedroom homes off Mill Lane.
To meet the continued demand for new homes in the area, the housebuilder is planning to open a further housing development on a neighbouring site, which will be known as Curzon Park, at the end of next month.
As part of the planning agreement for both developments, Bellway is contributing more than £720,000 towards highways improvements.
Bellway East Midlands Sales Director Carolyne Watkinson said: “It is lovely to see the new community that is getting established now at Brailsford Park.
“People who have already settled here are delighted with the village location, surrounded by open countryside and just 10 minutes’ drive from the Peak District National Park, yet close to Chesterfield and junction 29 of the M1.
“We’re now looking forward to opening our new development at Curzon Park and providing more people in the area with the new homes they need.
“And both developments are bringing investment in local infrastructure which will benefit residents new and old for years to come.”
