Up to 100 new jobs will be created in the East Midlands after Miller Homes Midlands revealed plans for its latest development, Charters Gate.
Located in Castle Donington, work on the 660-home community has already started, with buyers able to register their interest in one of the two three, four and five-bedroom bedroom properties available.
With a show home underway and an opening date of early 2019, construction of the new community will provide employment opportunities for a number of workers in the region, including electricians, plumbers, joiners, scaffolders and bricklayers.
The housebuilder will also have an additional 100 members of its own team involved, including site managers, technical engineers and an on-site sales team.
Sales manager for Miller Homes Midlands, Emma Weston, said: “Offering employment in the areas in which we build is of great importance to Miller Homes. Charters Gate is set to be one of our biggest developments of the year, and we’re really looking forward to having local people contribute to the build of a brand-new community.
“Castle Donington is already a thriving village, and the number of people registering their interest in Charters Gate is exceptionally high.”
