A house builder has marked its first anniversary of moving into the East Midlands by announcing further expansion.

Family-owned company Cameron Homes opened a new office in Castle Donington in October 2018 and has witnessed a successful 12 months.

“We launched our East Midlands division to facilitate growth into Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire – investing around £13m into the region in our initial year here,” said regional director Steve Cassie.

“It has been a very good first 12 months in business, with new jobs being created both in the office and on site, and we are continuing to recruit.

“We have four successful new housing developments underway in Aston on Trent, Brailsford, Hulland Ward and Repton.

“In addition, there are plans to open a further development in Breedon on the Hill in the early part of 2020 and we are pleased to announce the acquisition of further sites in Nottingham and Derbyshire, resulting in exciting opportunities for the company and for people looking to buy a high quality family home,” he said.

Cameron Homes builds throughout central England.
