Plans from Holscot Fluoroplastics for a new industrial unit in Grantham have been recommended for approval by South Kesteven District Council.

The proposed site is located on the northern edge of the Alma Park Industrial Estate. To the south of the site is the existing Holscot business. The site was previously used for military housing and now only one dwelling remains which would not be affected by the plans.

The new unit would be used in connection with the adjacent Holscot Fluoroplastics Ltd
business and could be used for a mixture of storage and manufacturing processes. The existing business employs 45 people and this additional unit would allow the business to expand while remaining in its current location, creating an 5 jobs.
