Derby to get ‘London style’ grade A city centre offices

Staton Young Group have recently purchased The Old Post Office, Victoria Street, Derby formally known as ‘Bar Soba’.

This latest purchase enables Staton Young to bring its new brand of serviced offices ‘Cubo’ to Derby.

The property comprises of over 20,000 sq ft of office space located right in the heart of the city.

Heather Needham, Commercial Director, said: “Cubo is a new brand which allows us to bring our expertise on serviced offices and expand it into the new modern way of working.

“Cubo will not just be offering private office space, but also hot desks and designated desks. The huge communal area will have a massive wow factor, boasting comfortable areas to work from rather than formal desk space, you will also be able enjoy a coffee from their inhouse barista, or even a beer from draft.

“There will be a gym, wellness room and games room, with the building allowing its tenants 24hours access; hopefully they will not want to leave.”

Rebecca Brough, Managing Director, commented: “We are delighted to be once again investing in Derby, bringing something the region hasn’t seen before. We have vast experience in serviced office space and are excited to be taking it to the next level. We have plans for further expansion to take Cubo across the Midlands and beyond.”
