Plans for a 7-storey student development in Nottingham City Centre have been recommended for approval by the city council.
The scheme would be constructed at a site on St Ann’s Well Road which previously housed a Gala bingo hall that has been demolished.
The proposed development would provide 356 bedrooms across a mix of 54 studios and 121 cluster flats.
Amenities would include a laundry, gym, and cinema room on the ground floor.
BSP Holdings acquired the former Gala Bingo site from Buzz Group Ltd for an undisclosed sum in January 2019.
At the time Adam Watson, Investment Director at BSP Holdings, said: “This is an exciting project for BSP Holdings. We have the opportunity to create a landmark development in Nottingham City Centre. This acquisition shows our confidence in the market and represents a multi-million pound investment in the regeneration of Nottingham.”
