69-bed student accommodation scheme approved in Nottingham

Proposals for a new student accommodation development at 1 Howard Street and 24-26 Glasshouse Street in Nottingham have been approved.

Existing buildings on the site will be demolished to make way for the 5-6 storey scheme with ground floor commercial units.

Callithome Ltd are behind the plans which feature 69 student bedrooms in cluster flats.

The development has been reduced in size during the course of assessment and negotiation, after proposals were lodged for a 7-8 storey building providing 90 beds.
