Time Out: Samuel Robinson, Almond Financial

The weekend has come back around again, and that means some more quick fire questions. This week’s ‘Time Out’ features Samuel Robinson, Financial Advisor at Lincoln-based Almond Financial.

What is the first thing you do to get the weekend started?

Most of my evenings are used to see clients when they finish work, so when Friday arrives the first thing I like to do it spend quality time with my family; my wife and my two boys.

What is your hobby?

I tend to play 5-a-side football with close friends from time to time, and I also enjoy spending time at the gym for a bit of R&R.

What is your favourite movie?

I love the Robert Downey Jr film, Iron Man.

If you hadn’t been successful at what you do, what would you be doing instead as a career?

For quite a while I’d looked at joining the fire service, so I would probably be doing that. Fireman Sam!

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I would like to fly, because I think airfares are terrible and I hate paying charges at the airports.

What is your favourite genre of music?

I like quite a varied range, to be honest, it depends on the mood I’m in at the time.

If you could travel to any moment in time where would you go?

I’d go back to VE Day 1945, the day of the end of the Second World War to meet Winston Churchill and witness the whole day unfold.
