Time Out: Chris Everard, Business Coach and Vistage Chair

Chris Everard

It’s almost the weekend and that means another ‘Time Out’. This week’s edition features Chris Everard, a Business Coach and Vistage Chair based in the East Midlands. Chris chairs four Vistage groups of business leaders and executives from across the region.

What is the first thing you do to get the weekend started?

I make my beautiful wife a cup of tea and then take our two dogs on a leisurely walk in the countryside.

What is your hobby?

I really enjoy motorcycling, ideally in India in the Himalayas! I have been on a few tours there and the experiences have been incredible.

What is your favourite movie?

The Green Mile.

If you hadn’t been successful at what you do, what would you be doing instead as a career?

Probably teaching.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

The ability to influence and persuade people into doing/saying/feeling what I want them to without them knowing.

What is your favourite genre of music or artist?

It’s got to be Bruce Springsteen.

If you could travel to any moment in time where would you go?

I organised and led a rugby tour to Australia for 28 under 15-year-olds. A good number of parents joined the tour as well and when I returned home, I felt a great sense of calmness and accomplishment.
