Time Out: Anna Wooster, Managing Director at Greenio

The weekend has come back around again, and that means another ‘Time Out’. This week’s questions are answered by Anna Wooster, Managing Director at Greenio, who intriguingly enjoys clay pigeon shooting!

What is the first thing you do to get the weekend started?                                           Two things – I either pour a glass of gin and tonic or head out for dinner with my friends.

What is your hobby?                                                                                                         Clay pigeon shooting. I started shooting in August 2016 thanks to the Femme Fatales clay pigeon shooting club, which I was introduced to by my friend, Liane.

What is your favourite movie?                                                                                         The Notebook! I’m a big softie really.

It you hadn’t been successful at what you do, what would you be doing instead of a career?                                                                                                                           Probably out there annoying someone! I have always been a hard worker and keen to learn new skills so I think I would have been okay.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?                                                   To take over people’s thoughts. It’d be interesting to find out what people were thinking at any given moment – although sometimes, it might be difficult to hear.

What is your favourite genre of music?                                                                           Ed Sheeran, James Bay – any singer-songwriters really. I live a very hectic life in and out of work so I love a good singalong and the odd cry when necessary.

If you could travel to any moment in time, where would you go?                                 I would advance to five years’ time – as long as I could come back again – to see what the renewable energy industry was doing and what new incentives and technologies were launched. That way, I’d be able to come back and be the first person to have introduced them.
