RKH tackle gruelling static challenge in aid of LOROS

Never a team to turn down a challenge, full-service creative agency, Rock Kitchen Harris (RKH), swapped their suits for sneakers and endured three days of toil as they cycled and ran their way to Paris, from their headquarters in Leicester city centre, all in aid of LOROS.

Raising £1,056 for LOROS, staff were split into five teams, with glory up for grabs for the victors. It was every team for themselves as they competed against the clock and against each other.

The RKH team’s competitive nature saw them travel 410 miles overall – 80 miles further than Paris.

LOROS Hospice, which is RKH’s charity of the year, cares for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and provides free, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.

Magdalena Korytkowska, Partnership Development Lead at LOROS, says: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to the whole team at RKH. Their complete commitment and enthusiasm was highly refreshing, and raising over £1,000 is incredible and greatly appreciated. We can’t thank them enough for their unwavering support, the money raised by RKH will pay for the cost of one of our specialist nurses for 10 days.”

Ian Moore, Director at RKH, said: “We’re a competitive bunch at RKH, especially when it comes to raising money for causes close to our hearts. LOROS is a fantastic charity that helps thousands of people across Leicestershire and Rutland. I, for one, couldn’t be prouder of the team for their amazing effort and raising much-needed funds for LOROS.”
