Purpose Media strengthens strategic link with East Midlands Chamber

Marketing agency Purpose Media has extended its status as a Strategic Partner of East Midlands Chamber by another 12 months.

The creative firm, based in South Normanton, Derbyshire, first became a Chamber Strategic Partner in January 2018, after several years of being a Chamber Patron.

As part of the new arrangement, Purpose Media provides advice and support to the Chamber’s in-house marketing team to deliver a number of key campaigns throughout the year, including supporting its annual business awards and the launch of its new initiative for young business leaders, Generation Next.

It also delivers the Chamber’s Marketing Forum, which meets every quarter and is designed to equip marketing professionals across the East Midlands with the latest skills, techniques and knowledge.

Purpose Media was founded in 2009 and now has over 400 clients, ranging from SMEs to enterprises with offices around the world, covering a wide variety of industry sectors. Its clients include the British Chambers of Commerce, Derby County Football Club, Middlesex County Cricket Club, American refrigeration manufacturer True and global aerospace supplier Pattonair.

Chamber Strategic Partners are chosen from among its patrons to collaborate on specific policy matters.

Scott Knowles, Chamber Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted to be extending our strategic partnership with Purpose Media for another 12 months.

“Our Strategic Partners influence the delivery of our policy and how we lobby Government and other opinion formers. They are drawn from among our patrons, which are themselves a powerful force in shaping policy to drive economic growth and develop and equip smaller businesses with the knowledge and skills that are vital to their future.

“Purpose Media continues to help the Chamber shape its marketing and digital delivery, bringing skills and expertise which complement those of the other patrons to evolve something which is, together, greater than the sum of its parts.”

Matt Wheatcroft, Purpose Media’s Managing Director, added: “We have a long and strong relationship with the Chamber, so are pleased to be extending our support as a Strategic Partner for another year.

“It will give us the opportunity to use our expertise in marketing and ecommerce to help influence the digital agenda across the region.

“We work with many clients, big and small, across the East Midlands and beyond, helping them to get more from their marketing and deliver memorable customer experiences.”
