Nottingham-based web design agency, Strafe Creative, is celebrating an award win this month after being recognised by the UK Business Awards for its work to transform the website of a mountain adventure business.
The company scooped the ‘Best Website or App’ award as a result of the work it carried out for Adventure Base, a leisure, travel and tourism company that specialises in creating and delivering unforgettable mountain experiences.
Strafe Creative used their expertise to redesign the website, making it more accessible to customers and streamlining the online sale booking process.
An ‘Adventure Wizard’ feature was also added. This is a digital questionnaire that gives site users personalised suggestions and is optimised to target corporate customers who are seeking bespoke trips.
Strafe Creative co-founder and director, Ross Davies, says: “We are thrilled to have secured the award as we are all very proud of the work we have done for Adventure Base. The same project already received an AVA Awards Gold Medal early this year thanks to the impressive results demonstrated within the first month of launch.
“Adventure Base saw a drastic increase in bookings, meaning that the site had paid for itself in a matter of weeks. We pride ourselves on being an agency that focuses on designing sites that help our clients convert enquiries into sales, something the results we have achieved for Adventure Base perfectly demonstrate.”
This award win comes as further success for Strafe Creative; as earlier this year the company secured a listing on the Drum’s Recommended Agency Register (RAR).
Established in 2010 by Ross Davies and Patrick Dolan, Strafe Creative’s client list includes national and international companies, amongst them BP, Go Dine, Avakin, Tobacco Dock and Virtual Headquarters.
