Lincolnshire estate agent scoops top prize at The Times and Sunday Times Property Awards

Pygott & Crone has been named “Midlands Estate Agency of the Year” at The Times and Sunday Times Property Awards.

Nathan Emerson, partner at Pygott & Crone, attended the awards ceremony at the Lancaster Hotel in London as the company received the Gold Award for Medium Estate Agency in the Midlands.

Emerson said: “I’m very proud of the whole team; winning this award is a huge achievement and is a testament to the hard work from all of our staff across the East Midlands.”

The judging panel cited the firm’s investment in advanced technical services – which has meant that Pygott & Crone is able to design, run and programme its website in-house and react to customer feedback faster than ever – as a key factor in their decision.

Due to the website’s redesign, the agency also picked up a Silver Award in the website category at the awards ceremony on 4th December.

Emerson added: “Over the past year, we have invested in improving our website, as well as the technology we use as a business to improve client services so to have been recognised for these efforts is fantastic. The new Sleaford headquarters has recently benefitted from a state of the art Samsung interactive touch screen – giving more in depth property and area information than ever before.

“As a business, we adhere to the highest industry standards and are members of over 14 professional industry bodies – including being a founding member of the Relocation Agent Network, a national network of hand-picked agents who are part of a referral system for those looking to move across the country and require expert advice from an agents across the UK. We have expanded rapidly in 2015, increasing staff numbers from 90 to 130 and have big plans for the New Year as we look forward to opening new offices throughout the region.”

Pygott & Crone has had a successful year, having been awarded “Best Estate Agency” and “Best Lettings Agency in Lincolnshire” at the International Property Awards, “East Midlands Agent of the Year” at the Insider Property Dinner and “Relocation Agent of the Year.”
