Nottingham-based web design agency Strafe Creative is celebrating double success this month. The firm has been listed on The Drum Recommended Agency Register and has also been awarded the AVA Digital Design Gold Medal for one its clients’ websites for boosting sales by more than 300%.
The company, located in the city’s Creative Quarter, has earned its place amongst the top marketing, design and digital agencies in the UK by securing a listing on the Drum’s Recommended Agency Register (RAR). This prestigious site helps brands to find suitable agency partners and issues monthly awards such as ‘Top Agencies of the Month’ and ‘Top Insights of the Month’.
Strafe has secured its place on the register due its consistent positive reviews. The company is highly commended for its quality of web design and development work, receiving a rating of 8.8/10 for services in Web Design for its clients including BP, Lockwood Publishing and Adventure Base.
The digital agency, which has grown throughout the pandemic and now employs 16 people in Nottingham and London, is also celebrating being awarded a Digital Design Gold medal in the Ava Awards; an international competition that recognises excellence by creative professionals.
This was awarded for Strafe Creative’s development of the Adventure Base website; a leisure, travel and tourism company that specialises in creating and delivering mountain experiences.
Strafe Creative co-founder and Director Ross Davies said: “I am thrilled to have secured our listing on The Drum’s Recommended Agencies as we are one of only a handful of agencies in the East Midlands to have achieved this and therefore take our place amongst some of the top companies in the UK. Delivering work that our clients love and are proud to recommend us for is hugely satisfying.
“We pride ourselves on our approach to web design, being ‘innovative yet intuitive’ with a focus on designing site that helps clients convert enquiries into sales. This was one of the reasons our work with Adventure Base achieved the AVA Awards Gold Medal. Thanks to a fourfold increase in bookings in the first month, the site had paid for itself in matter of weeks. In the months since its launch, there has been an average increase in sales of just over 300%.”
