Female leaders in property, construction and regeneration from across Lincolnshire, came together to discuss key topics in the region at an event organised by leading contractor Willmott Dixon.
Hosted by Michelle Cotterill, Willmott Dixon Director, the event brought together key leaders from local government and heads of private sector organisations.
Willmott Dixon, which recently completed the £30 million Lincoln Transport Hub scheme, hosted the lunch to create conversations around Lincolnshire’s ambitions and the opportunities for investors and developers.
Michelle said: “Lincolnshire is one of the most buoyant areas in the UK with many opportunities for significant development and growth. Major schemes, like the Lincoln Transport Hub, are helping to unlock even more potential for the area and Willmott Dixon is excited to be part of that.
“Our event brought female leaders together to talk about Lincolnshire’s potential. We spoke about MIPIM, the world’s largest property event that happened in March, food enterprise zones, and residential developments. It was ironic that our event was hosted in Europe’s oldest and longest inhabited house, Jews House, and that we were discussing the thousands of new homes that the county needs.”
Kate Ellis, Major Development Director at City of Lincoln Council, spoke at the event and gave an overview of Lincoln’s forthcoming schemes. She said: “It’s an exciting time to be in Lincoln – there is so much opportunity. Lincoln is on the cusp of something great.”
