Contrast Digital founder scoops Emerging Digital Star award

Contrast Digital’s Founder and Director, Elliott Davidson, has won the Emerging Digital / Creative Star (Under 25) category at the Mainframe Derby awards.

The boutique eCommerce digital marketing agency said: “We’ve had a rollercoaster of a first year here at Contrast and we’re proud to have been chosen as the winners for this category.

“We’ve gone from scratch as a new start-up and quickly grown into an agency with 5 employees turning over more than 200k per year.

“We were recognised for the results that we’re delivering for our clients, from generating an extra £100,000, in turnover for a local garden and grounds business, through SEO and PR, all the way to a grab hire company generating an extra 660 sales, which enabled them to buy two new 8 tonne lorries worth £270,000.

“We also helped another firm recover after their business took a turn for the worst and lost half of its website traffic overnight – losing them £1,000’s worth of business. Luckily we were able to pinpoint the reason for the sudden loss of traffic and resolve the issue quickly.

“We faced some strong competition to win the award. Our fellow finalists were the emerging creative talents, Joe Clark from V21 Productions and Lee Averne from Rams TV, Derby Football Club.”

The Mainframe Derby awards celebrate some of the UK’s most talented digital & creative businesses.
