Leicestershire-based warehousing and ecommerce solutions provider Core Management Logistics (CML) has won the Staff Development Award at this year’s British International Freight Association (BIFA) Freight Service Awards.
On Thursday 16th January 2020, BIFA held its luncheon ceremony at The Brewery in London. Over 500 individuals attended the ceremony with Ade Adepitan, one of the UK’s most well-known Paralympians and broadcasters, hosting the awards and announcing the winners.
The judges chose CML as winner of the Staff Development Award for the company’s recognition of the impact of training on an employee’s growth and wellbeing with a holistic view to staff development and a dedicated purpose-built training centre on site.
Michelle Billings, Training and Development Manager at CML, said: “I am thrilled to be part of a team that has won the BIFA Staff Development Award and pleased that CML has had the opportunity to showcase how it truly believes investing in training and development will benefit not only the business but its employees.
“One size doesn’t fit all, so CML has a blended learning approach to ensure all employees have the opportunity to learn and develop in a way that suits their needs and I feel privileged to work with people who have the desire and passion to continue to grow.“
