Businesses from across the region have been signing up to take part in this year’s Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge, in aid of Rainbows Hospice. Amongst these teams is construction firm Frank Goulding Limited, who have entered the race for the first time this year.

Frank Goulding Limited said: “This is our first time competing in a boat race. As a company we are looking to raise funds for charity and Rainbows is a charity that is close to the employees hearts. Each year we partake in a summer activity and this year we are excited to challenge our team on the water whilst contributing to a very worthwhile cause. Our employees are of various ages and experience and as a team perform very well, this we hope to transfer into the boat on race day.”

East Midlands Business Link has joined with Gable Events to launch the eleventh challenge, which will take place on Sunday 4th August 2019 on the River Trent at Victoria Embankment.

Businesses across the region can enter their teams into the event for a day of fun, team building, and to help raise money for the Hospice.
