Legal 500: a look at the East Midlands

According to the Legal 500, law firms across the East Midlands – Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Northampton – are remaining busy across areas including corporate, commercial property and employment.

In Nottingham the report highlights Browne Jacobson LLP and Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP as standout firms, alongside Freeths LLP, Shakespeare Martineau LLP, Gateley Plc and Nelsons Solicitors Limited. Flint Bishop LLP meanwhile is the largest firm in Derby, while Howes Percival LLP and Hewitsons are names to note in Northampton. The Leicester market, meanwhile, was recently shaken up by Knights PLC’s acquisition of Spearing Waite LLP.
