Invest in Nottingham welcomes the return of the East Midlands Bricks Awards for 2021

Invest in Nottingham is showing its support for the East Midlands Bricks Awards 2021, with  its Head of Investment welcoming the event’s return to Nottingham, encouraging businesses in property and construction to submit their nominations and attend the event to celebrate successes, boost morale, and form new connections.

Lorraine Baggs, Head of Investment at Invest in Nottingham, said: “It is great to see the East Midlands Bricks Awards returning to Nottingham in 2021 as one of the first major networking events and awards ceremonies that many in the property industry will have attended in over a year.

“The industry cannot fail to notice that Nottingham is currently enjoying a development boom in these difficult times. Not just finishing off existing projects but getting planning for new ones, so where better to hold this event.

“Providing a prime opportunity to reward and celebrate property and construction professionals, companies and development projects across the region, the prestigious event attracts professionals from all over the East Midlands to our city, presenting the ideal evening to form new connections in a safe environment.

“It is vital that companies do their part in submitting themselves and others for awards like the East Midlands Bricks, to shine a light on the work they have done, raise their profile, show appreciation to staff, boost employee morale, and more. Only in drawing attention to successes can companies be recognised for them, and businesses should take every opportunity available, especially coming out of the pandemic.”

If you haven’t submitted your nominations yet, now is the ideal time. Nominations forms can be found here.

Award categories include: most active estate agent, commercial development of the year, responsible business of the year, residential development of the year, developer of the year, deal of the year, architects of the year, excellence in design, sustainable development of the year, contractor of the year, and overall winner.

Winners will be announced and celebrated at our glittering awards event on Thursday 30 September at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, in the Derek Randall Suite, from 4:30pm – 7:30pm. Tickets can be booked here.

After last year’s ceremony was moved online due to the Coronavirus pandemic, with restrictions easing, the 2021 celebration is to be held in person once again, providing an ideal opportunity to connect with property and construction professionals in a safe and secure environment.

The East Midlands Bricks Awards, organised by East Midlands Business Link Magazine, is an independent awards and publicity programme recognising development projects and people in commercial and public building across the region – from office, industrial and residential schemes, through to community projects such as leisure schemes and schools.
