The awards are handed to the elite legal practitioners, based on the most comprehensive research into the UK legal market. The Legal 500 conduct over 50,000 interviews to ascertain the winners, who will be invited to a dinner in London on 6 February 2019, to celebrate with their peers.
The short-listings come after Howes Percival was awarded top tier rankings in 13 different legal specialisms in the 2018 edition of The Legal 500 – the authoritative guide to the UK’s leading law firms.
Commenting on the short-listings, Tessa Haskey, Howes Percival’s chairman said, “Huge congratulations to all the shortlisted lawyers and teams who have clearly impressed the judges with their experience, knowledge and personal service. But I am obviously particularly happy for Alison, Carl and Tracey. We know our people are superstars, but it is fantastic when they get this kind of recognition from others.
“2018 has been a tremendous year for Howes Percival. We’ve experienced an increase in instructions from new and existing clients including the appointment to a second Government panel, delivered a series of stand-out deals and continued to attract high-calibre lawyers to the firm.”
Earlier this year Howes Percival reported a 14% increase in turnover, with profits up 37%, for the firm’s full financial year ending May 2018.
