Streets Chartered Accountants explore hybrid working, HR concerns, the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards and more in its latest Business Support Update.
In the latest episode of The Streets Sessions, the company talk to Anita Wynne, CEO of Beststart Human Resources, following the lifting of lockdown restrictions, about returning employees to their place of work and what to consider when looking at hybrid working.
The Government announced their intention to move England back to a more normal footing by removing all restrictions; they are already reducing the furlough scheme. Whilst time will tell as to the wisdom of these decisions, business owners and organisations still need to grapple with what this means for them, as well as the everyday HR challenges.
As we have seen lockdown restrictions irreversibly eased, no longer are we asked to continue to work from home (WFH) if we can. Whilst we have seen over the last few months workers return in the hospitality/leisure and non-essential retail sectors, many more businesses have seen workers continuing, even preferring to work from home.
As Academy specialists, Streets were delighted to host its 10th Academy Update – a free and informative update for all schools and Academies – Headteachers, Accounting officers, Bursars/Business Managers and Governors – especially those on the finance/audit committee. The session was led by Streets’ Academy Partners Robert Anderson, Georgii Gale and Alan Endersby.
Streets are delighted to be sponsoring the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards 2021, which will award £4,000 to a community with the ambition and plans to create a greener future for their local area.
- Does your community want to establish a new green space?
- Are your volunteers wanting to create a new woodland for wildlife?
- Does your eco community project need help getting off the ground?
