East Midlands companies make Sunday Times Top 100

A host of East Midlands firms have been named in the Sunday Times’ prestigious “100 Best Companies to Work For” and “100 Best Small Companies to Work For” rankings for 2017.

Nottingham’s First Response Finance is the highest ranked East Midlands firm in the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list in 9th place. Castle Donington-based PKF Cooper Parry is ranked 32nd, while Lincoln-based construction firm Lindum Group takes 38th spot. Freeths’ Nottingham office is ranked 50th, Nottingham’s BWB Consulting is 59th, and Derby-based Motorpoint is 92nd.

Elizabeth Hardwick-Smith, head of HR at BWB Consulting, said: “Becoming a Top 100 Company to Work For is a journey the whole business has to go on. Securing accreditation is the result of engaging with our people year after year, listening to what they have to say, taking positive action and working really hard together to build a better business.

She added: “Being ranked 59th in the country is just amazing. We’ve worked year on year to get into this position and we won’t stop there”.

Meanwhile, Nottingham-based recruitment firms Macildowie and SF Group have been named in the “100 Best Small Companies to Work For” rankings at 65th and 95th respectively. Lincoln-based flight training business Inzpire is the highest-ranked East Midlands company on the list at 32nd.
