October sees the launch of Letterbox Sentry, an innovative new security product preventing letter box crimes.
The new solution from Derby-based Letterbox Sentry is a security device that enables you to control access to your letterbox, providing peace of mind and filling a critical gap in the market. Until now, there has been nothing that does the job of these products.
There are two models available – the TG1 and FG1. The first is solely battery operated, while the latter is powered by mains and equipped with a vapour sensor which can detect accelerants introduced into the letterbox area.
The models are installed on the rear of any standard letterbox and can be set to lock and unlock at predetermined times. They therefore prevent arson attacks and firework attacks on properties as well as preventing key fishing and other letterbox crimes. They also helps to reduce junk mail as well as being easy to fit.
When in the lock position Letterbox Sentry will reliably sense tampering and trigger an alarm should someone try to gain unauthorised access to your letterbox.
In the wake of the coronavirus crisis, the company has adapted its procedures accordingly and taken extra steps to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Its team is now equipped for remote working.
