DCH Law snapped up by Buckles Solicitors

James Coppinger Head of Office and partner Buckles Solicitors

DCH Law has been acquired by Buckles Solicitors LLP and will continue to operate from offices based at Cumberland House on Park Row.

The deal further strengthens Buckles’ expanding service provision and allows DCH clients access to a much wider range of legal services and expertise across sectors such as Employment Law, Construction & Engineering, and International Services. Buckles also has a well established strategic alliance with CastaldiPartners, a Franco-Italian law firm providing legal solutions to businesses and individuals across Europe.

Business resilience will naturally increase as a result of the acquisition and the shared commitment to maintaining a friendly, client-focused service will be strengthened.

James Coppinger, Head of Office and partner in the Construction & Engineering Team said: “This deal is part of our on-going growth strategy and shows our commitment to Nottingham. There is a significant amount of synergy between the two firms and with our shared ethos of providing practical, solutions-focused advice and an excellent client experience it makes perfect sense to join forces to further enhance our offering in the city.”

Pip Dawkins of DCH Law said: “This presents a superb opportunity for us to provide an even better service to our clients.  It means we have strength in depth and a much greater knowledge pool, not to mention offices in Paris and Milan and a ready-made gateway into Europe, which can only be beneficial and exciting for all our clients in the coming “post Brexit” years.”

Buckles opened its thriving Nottingham office in 2014 and has established offices based in London, Peterborough, Stamford, Paris and Milan. DCH Law, a niche commercial practice, was established in September 2013 and has developed a strong local reputation.
