It’s that time of year, when Business Link Magazine invites readers to offer up their forecasts for the year ahead. It has become something of a tradition, given that we’ve been doing this for almost 35 years.
And, while none of us possess a crystal ball, it is uncanny how accurate some of these forecasts have been over the years.
Here continue our series with James Willow, Managing Director at Butler & Willow.
Aside from the major topics and talking points in the media and business world every day, we have been pleased to see the continued uptake on credible businesses recognising their great people and the importance of workspaces and team’s wellbeing.
We would predict that whilst some businesses will be hesitant in early 2019, others will be maximising opportunities by reassuring their workforce that they can depend on them whilst also looking for ways to attract top talent to push onwards with their drive for success.
Working environments will continue to be a key facet, not only to those deciding whether or not to join a particular company, but also to retained clients and prospective customers who will recognise the commitment and gain greater confidence and trust in who they do on-going business with.
Butler & Willow experienced this throughout the ups and downs of 2018, so are confident that 2019 will produce fantastic opportunities for businesses to promote their people-focussed workspaces (whether in new premises or re-modelling existing) and welfare cultures as part of their own win strategies into the new year.
