Thousands of jobs could be created thanks to a new agreement between Games Workshop and Segro Logistics Parks, near East Midlands Airport.
The Nottingham-headquartered fantasy gaming giant, which recently reported another record-breaking year is looking to develop a new 177,500 sq ft warehouse and distribution centre at SEGRO, in addition to its current operation in Lenton Nottingham.
The news comes just months after East Midlands Business Link revealed that Amazon had committed to set up at the Logistics Park and follows other national brands such as Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world’s leading transport and logistics companies.
SEGRO Logistics Park is a 700 acre development with planning consent for up to 6,000,000 sq ft of logistics accommodation. The development incorporates a 50 acre Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) which will include a rail freight terminal, capable of handling up to sixteen 775m freight trains per day, container storage and HGV parking.
