Revenue grows while losses widen at cloud-based software business

Revenue has risen while losses have widened at CloudCall, the Leicester cloud-based software business.

In unaudited interim results for the six months to 30 June 2021, the company posted revenue of £6.41m, up from £5.81m in the same period of 2020.

The firm however posted a loss before tax of £4.1m, widening from £2.6m in 2020.

Simon Cleaver, CEO, said: “I am delighted to report strong growth in line with our expectations and that the investments we’ve been making are delivering efficiencies.

“We have undoubtedly reached an inflection point whereby we can scale the business whilst limiting growth in cost, thereby allowing us reach breakeven whilst still delivering 25% growth in ARR going forward.”
