The University of Lincoln’s School of Engineering is manufacturing safety visors and other equipment for use in Lincoln County Hospital to combat the spread of Covid-19.
Although the University itself is contributing a large part of the cost required to produce the equipment, it is seeking help to raise the reaming funds via a JustGiving campaign.
The campaign has so far raised more than £30,000 from more than 1,000 University staff and alumni. As of writing, the campaign has raised 65% of the total £50,000 required.
Donations can be made either through the donation page or by sending a donation marked ‘Lincoln Hospital Campaign’ to the Development Office, University of Lincoln, Brayford Pool, Lincoln, LN6 7TS.
