In a half year trading update for the six months to 2 December 2018, Games Workshop have estimated sales to be around £124m and operating profits £41m in the first six months of 2018/19 which are “in line with expectations for the year ending 2 June 2019.”

A statement from the Nottingham business says: “These results show the Warhammer Hobby is in great shape in our core markets. We have built on the progress we made last year and the results are considerable given the backdrop of major projects; increasing factory capacity and ERP system implementation.

“The Board has today declared a dividend of 30 pence per share, in line with the Company’s policy of distributing truly surplus cash.”

Game Workshop said it expects to announce its half-yearly report for the six months to 2 December 2018 on 15 January 2019.
