Games Workshop “in great shape” as revenue and profit surge

Games Workshop’s CEO has said the business is “in great shape” as revenue and profit rise.

In its annual report for the year to 30 May 2021, the Nottingham-based company posted revenue of £353.2m, up from £269.7m in the year prior.

Profit before tax meanwhile surged to £150.9m from £89.4m.

Kevin Rountree, CEO of Games Workshop, said: “After a tough year we are delighted that the Warhammer hobby and Games Workshop are in great shape; thanks to everyone involved and thanks to everyone that continues to keep us safe and well.”
