Tubesheet, the Ripley-based precision engineering business, has moved into its new headquarters in the town.
Developer Sladen Estates, in partnership with Peveril Securities, designed and built the 22,000 sq ft premises at Denby Business Park.
Tubesheet was established in 1985 and precision engineers components and supplies tubesheets and heat exchanger related products in ferrous, non-ferrous and exotic alloys. These types of products are used primarily in the nuclear, power generation and petrochemical industries.
Chief executive at Sladen Estates Nick Sladen said it had been exciting for his firm to be involved with the expansion and development of such a thriving local business. He said: “We are thrilled to have completed this project for Tubesheet. It is always encouraging to see local firms growing to the point where they need new, bigger premises – and this is where we come in. We have created a state-of-the-art base for Tubesheet so it can continue to grow and develop as a business.”
Tubesheet supplies customers across the globe, with over 65 per cent of its business being direct export.
