Fifteen jobs have been brought to Derby by a specialist flooring company with the hope of more on the way after a deal brokered by Salloway Property Consultants.
Advance Resin Technologies (International) Ltd specialises in the installation of epoxy resin and polyurethane flooring systems.
It has moved to Royal Scot Road on Pride Park after outgrowing its previous base in Borrowash.
The company has a burgeoning order book for its flooring services and solutions which are used across a large variety of industries including food production, health and car showrooms.
Advanced Resin Technologies (International) has leased a unit previously occupied by MRX Technologies Limited which vacated on March 31 after exercising an option to break their lease.
Managing Director, Michael Rudkin, said: “We needed enough space to expand because of a very encouraging order book, including companies overseas. We have fifteen staff currently but are looking to bring in more once the Coronavirus lockdown is lifted.”
Salloway surveyor, Hugo Beresford, added: “It was excellent to get such a quick result for Michael and his team on behalf of a private landlord client. It is more evidence that there are still deals being done despite the Coronavirus crisis and I am sure that, once the lockdown is eased, there will be many more.”
