Ramtech has opened a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina, creating a fully established US supply chain for its wireless fire and life safety systems. The move positions the company to serve contractors with faster access to equipment, technical support, and training at a time when the construction sector faces higher costs, labour gaps, and logistical pressures.
James Pecz, Head of North America, Middle East & Global CX, said, “We are proud to put a permanent marker on the map in North Carolina. The launch is a tangible statement of our investment in the U.S. market and a demonstration of our commitment to partners and clients across the country.”
The Charlotte hub is designed to shorten lead times and improve mobilisation for projects that rely on site-wide safety technology. Contractors will gain more predictable access to hardware and servicing, reducing delays on complex builds and supporting consistent safety standards across large, multi-phase developments.
Ramtech is aligning its expanded operations with national fire safety codes, including those shaped by NFPA 241, as the industry shifts towards modern evacuation and monitoring technologies. The firm aims to improve uniformity in adoption across diverse construction environments.
The company has operated in the US for seven years and provides systems used on major commercial builds, maritime defence projects, and large mixed-use developments. Its portfolio includes deployments on high-value sites such as Hudson Detroit and Gaylord Pacific Resort, supported by a network of distributors across the country.
The new Charlotte base will anchor its plans to extend coverage into the South and Midwest, broadening its footprint beyond its established presence in the North and Southeast.
