Powerleague invests £890,000 in new Nottingham Arnold football facility

Powerleague is expanding its UK network with the launch of a new football complex in Nottingham’s Arnold district. The £890,000 investment will fund eight five-a-side pitches and a full-size pitch at Arnold Hill Spencer Academy, which can be divided into four seven-a-side spaces. The facility will use PowerPitch Plus turf technology to improve durability and performance for both league and casual play.

An additional £100,000 is being allocated to refurbish the clubhouse, which will include modernised changing rooms, a bar, and social areas designed to enhance visitor experience and corporate hospitality potential.

The Nottingham Arnold site marks Powerleague’s latest step in its regional expansion strategy. The company currently operates 44 clubs across the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, hosting over eight million players annually through leagues, coaching, and events.

Opening later this month, the new site is located 10 minutes from Nottingham city centre and offers access via NCT bus routes 56 and 57X as well as on-site parking.
