New homes set for Leicestershire as 2.7 acre site sold

A 2.7 acre site in Old Dalby, close to Melton Mowbray has been sold by heb, on behalf of Langar-based Hofton & Son.

The site has planning consent for 25 new homes and has been sold to Nottingham-based Inside Land Group acting in conjunction with Pelham Homes.

Gareth Staff, director at Inside Land, said: “This is another site delivered with one of our development partners and we look forward to announcing further acquisitions in the near future.”

A director at Pelham Homes added: “We are always looking for opportunities across the East Midlands and look forward to delivering high quality new homes in the popular village location of Old Dalby. Our site at Pelham Waterside in Nottingham highlights the quality we like to deliver and we look forward to working with our partners to bring this new site to life with designs to be in keeping with the local area.”

The vendors were advised by Robert Maxey at heb Chartered Surveyors who said: “It was very pleasing to broker this deal on behalf of a much-valued client. The market for residential land is incredibly buoyant at the moment, with no signs so far of any adverse impact from the pandemic.”
