New appointments at award-winning IT support provider

Award-winning Nottinghamshire-based IT support provider Your IT Department has announced the appointment of a new marketing and business development manager as it continues its growth and looks forward to opening new premises.

The company has been actively recruiting, appointing new engineer Adam Hughes late in 2016 and replacing Richard Hewson, father of director Lee, on his retirement in November with Angus Unwin-Rose. It has now appointed Craig Pearson to head up the marketing and business development team.

Directors Lee Hewson and Simon Cox said: “We are tremendously excited to announce the strengthening of the Your IT team as we look forward to moving in to dedicated premises at Farrington Way within the next few weeks. Craig is someone we have known for some time and we are delighted to be able to welcome him on-board – we feel he is the missing part of the puzzle and we are looking forward to working with him to improve our marketing communications and help drive the business forwards”.

Pearson has a wide range of marketing and management experience and will be responsible for implementing a new on and offline marketing strategy for the business, which was named “Small Business of the Year” in the 2015 East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Awards.

He said: “I leapt at the opportunity to join Your IT. I’ve seen the company grow from the outside over the past few years and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of helping them build on that growth. I have a real interest in the IT sector and cannot wait to get started.

“Knowing that we will soon be moving to our own premises, with considerable room for expansion is another reason that I’m am so excited to be joining the business at this time”.
