Leicestershire-based SEL Engineering Solutions, manufacturer of specialist equipment for the food industry, has used £200,000 funding from NatWest to expand and modernise its premises.
The new building extension provides space to facilitate the assembly and testing of larger systems, allowing the company to increase its throughput. In addition to expanding the building, SEL has also built a new CNC multi axis lathe machine. The machine, which makes circular components, will expand the company’s customer offering.
SEL managing director, Sean Maguire, said: “Our NatWest relationship manager was proactive in approaching me with finance for our expansion plans, and was keen to support local businesses. The extension and new equipment has not only provided us with more space, but has also created a more professional and efficient environment.”
NatWest relationship manager, Lee Bredarol, added: “Sapcote’s clients are key players in the food industry, and it is therefore vital that its premises match the professional service that it provides.”
