Derby County has released its financial report for the year ending June 2025, marking continued stabilisation under Clowes Developments (UK) Limited. The club recorded a reduced loss of £11.3 million, down from £14.2 million the previous year, reflecting improved financial discipline and higher income streams.
Revenue rose to £31.9 million, compared to £19.4 million in 2024. Broadcast income accounted for a significant share, increasing to £12 million from £2.9 million, while matchday and commercial revenue grew 24 per cent to £18.3 million. Average home attendances of 29,018 placed the club among the Championship’s top four in crowd size.
Transfer spending reached around £12 million, covering new arrivals such as Ebou Adams and Carlton Morris. The club also generated income through sales and sell-on clauses linked to former players, including Eiran Cashin and Jayden Bogle. Future player registrations post-July total £10.9 million and will appear in the following financial statement.
The accounts report a net liability of £44.9 million, reflecting owner-funded cash injections to support operations. Despite this, Derby maintains a £25.3 million Profit and Sustainability headroom, signalling a cautious but stable financial outlook aligned with its long-term fiscal plan.
