City centre apartments back in vogue, says FHP Living

City centre apartments are firmly back on the menu according to a Nottingham property expert following a bumper period of sales.
FHP Living has agreed sales on 25 properties in the city since the start of June – with a number more anticipated before the close of this month – and sold prices ranging from £85,000 to £415,000. Oliver Marshall, property consultant at the estate agency, said: “Since the start of the year we have noticed a steady increase in the number of apartment sales in the city centre – city living is very much back on the menu. “We have been selling properties at a rate of more than four per week, which is a marked increase on the earlier part of the year and something that is indicative of the improvements in the residential market for both owner occupiers and investors. “There is a real improvement in market confidence at the moment – so much so that 10 of the apartments we have sold in the last six weeks have achieved the asking price or higher, which we are thrilled about.” Popular areas and developments for buyers have included Weekday Cross and Park Gate. FHP Living is also marketing apartments in The Picture Works and Kings Court.
