Botanicals, the Soil Association certified natural organic skincare brand, has moved to new larger premises at The Lodge, PERA Business Park, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Wendy Stirling, founder of Botanicals, explains “Botanicals has always been a Leicestershire based business, but in recent years we have outgrown our existing premises. We were in desperate need of more space, primarily to increase production capacity to meet current demands for our products, but also added facilities to enhance our offering to customers.
“It was also imperative we remain in the local area, not only for our staff, but because Botanicals is a rural-based business – taking inspiration from the nature and the countryside.”
Wendy continued: “Botanicals is where it is at today because of our ethos of producing natural skincare products using the pure power of plants and organic ingredients – coupled with the fact that the entire Botanicals range is Soil Association certified.
“Also using strict performance and ethical standards, with all products made by hand, in small batches, to preserve the active properties of the botanicals used. Our customers can be assured these core values will not change with the move.”
Set in beautiful grounds, the former hunting lodge has been renovated by the PERA team to provide bespoke facilities for Botanicals. Wendy adds “Our business expansion would not have been possible without the vision of Nigel Brown, MD of PERA Business Park and his team. The Lodge had been unused for many years, but now is being returned to its former glory and provides Botanicals with exactly what’s needed to support our expansion.”
Wendy concludes, “Not only have we a fabulous space, but it is also supported by inclusive facilities such as utilities, security, IT. This allows Botanicals to concentrate on what we do best, whilst still listening to the birds sing and watching the local wildlife.”
