More than 30 property agents from across the East and West Midlands attended a private launch event at Nottinghamshire’s newest business park last week.
Representatives from almost all of the region’s leading property firms were offered a guided coach tour of Harrier Park at Hucknall, which is just minutes from the M1.
The new 70 acre business park, which when complete will create around 2,000 new jobs for local people, will be delivered by Muse – the national regeneration developer – in partnership with Rolls-Royce, which is investing considerably in its existing manufacturing plant adjacent to the new development.
Dan Needham, development director at Muse Developments, said: “We were delighted with the number of agents who attended our launch event at Harrier Park.
“Feedback on the site was very inspiring – with attendees saying they were impressed with our plans, the location of the business park and the potential for growth that it offers. The fact that the sun shone for us on the day too certainly showed the development in its very best light!
“It is now full steam ahead with construction on site. We are working closely with Nottinghamshire County Council who are currently delivering a new access road to Harrier Park from the Hucknall bypass”.
Needham added: “We’ve received many enquiries about the park already and we are confident occupiers will be attracted by potential Harrier Park offers for economic growth both regionally and nationally”.
The commencement of construction at Harrier Park marks a significant step forward for Hucknall. The wider development scheme incorporates housing, a new primary school and environmental enhancements.
Construction of the new business park access commenced in May 2016 and is due for completion by spring 2017.
