Smith Cooper appoint new Senior Partner

David Nelson has been appointed to the role of Senior Partner at Smith Cooper.

In his new role, David will continue to work alongside Managing Partner, James Bagley, in the ongoing development and implementation of the firm’s strategic vision and the executive management of many of its reporting divisions and subsidiaries.

Of his promotion, David said: “As a firm, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading tailored advice to ambitious owner managed clients, no matter where in the business lifecycle they may be. My appointment recognises that we ourselves are an ambitious owner managed business with growth aspirations, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside James Bagley in spearheading the execution of our stated plans.”

Smith Cooper’s Partnership comprises of 17 Partners in total, spread amongst 6 offices across the Midlands.
