Precision boosts contract team with senior hire

Specialist Technical & Management staffing business Precision People has added to its contract team with the appointment of principal consultant, Chris Deverson.

Chris joins the growing team of five consultants in Precision’s contracts division, which specialises in blue and white-collar contracting roles across the East Midlands and the UK.

Prior to joining Leicester-based Precision People, Chris worked at ATA and SF for 15 years as a principal consultant.

Chris Deverson said: “I’m very excited to be joining this already well established and solid team, with an extensive client base. The team has maintained excellent relationships throughout the difficulties of the last year, and now as we’re seeing the market really start to gain traction once again, I look forward to the future, building on the client base and growing the contract division in line with the ambitious 5 year growth plans.”

Phil Walker, director of Precision People, said: “Both the team and I are looking forward to Chris growing the contracting team – strategically for Precision, Chris is a great hire and he comes with a wealth of experience.

“Contract staffing is an important part of our five-year growth strategy, which aims to equal the level of business that we currently have within our permanent division. We have recently launched a company-wide share options scheme, which has proven to be an attraction for experienced recruiters to join us on the journey.”
