PKF Smith Cooper appoint new Audit Director

PKF Smith Cooper is delighted to welcome Audit Director Barbara Sims to the team.

Barbara has over 15 years practice experience, working with a variety of clients from owner managed businesses to charities and academies. Her role will be primarily internal, focusing on audit quality and providing technical support to the audit team.

Prior to joining the firm, Barbara worked for 5 years as CFO for a multi-academy trust, which will provide invaluable insights into the challenges facing the sector and add strength to the education offering of the firm.

The audit team at PKF Smith Cooper, of which Barbara will be a key member, work with all types of clients from large corporations to SMEs and not-for-profit organisations, across a variety of sectors, providing tailored advice on all manner of audit, assurance, and advisory matters.
