Leading dementia and nursing care home provider, Church Farm Care, has announced the appointment of Amanda Jones as quality assurance manager.
Registered nurse Amanda brings with her 37 years of experience working for the NHS in a variety of roles including district nurse, continuing healthcare assessor and quality monitoring officer.
Nottinghamshire-based Church Farm Care, which has four care homes across the county in West Bridgford, Radcliffe-on-Trent and Cotgrave, has appointed Amanda to work alongside the directors, central team and home managers to examine the quality of care and the quality of life experiences of Church Farm Care’s residents, through the development, maintenance and scrutiny of robust quality assurance systems and processes.
In her new role, Amanda will be part of the central team based at Church Farm Care’s head office in Cotgrave and will be working closely with the management in all four care homes.
During her time at the NHS, Amanda worked closely with care homes across Nottinghamshire, auditing and supporting the quality of care delivery. She has worked closely with the Care Quality Commission and Nottinghamshire County Council, gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this area.
