Nottingham-based digital PR agency, Motive, has strengthened its team with three new appointments following its most successful year to date.
Now experienced media professional Sarah Samways has been appointed as Head of PR while Josh Rawson has joined as Graphic Designer and Megan Turner takes up a PR Executive role.
It’s an internal promotion for Sarah who has been with the agency for 11 years, rising from account manager to director and now Head of PR.
She will be responsible for setting strategy and direction across all of the agency’s PR campaigns for clients, working closely with Motive MD Steve McComish.
Sarah said: “I’m delighted to be going into 2021 as Motive’s Head of PR. I am already very proud of the work we do at the agency and the outstanding results we achieve for our clients. By stepping up to Head of PR I will have greater input in strategy across the board and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
Also as part of its ongoing growth strategy, Motive has brought in Josh Rawson as Graphic Designer to help improve Motive’s creative design offering and boost content marketing capabilities. With agency and in-house experience, Josh brings a great track record in designing and creating successful visual content, and will bring a wealth of new ideas to Motive.
Josh said: “I’m extremely excited to be joining Motive at a time where we have such a promising trajectory. I’m excited to bring my creative skill-set to the table and push things forward for both ourselves and our diverse clientele. The sky’s the limit with this and I look forward to what the future holds.”
The third new appointment is Megan Turner, who joins as Motive’s new PR Executive. Megan joins from BBC Radio Nottingham where she was an assistant producer working on a variety of programmes.
Megan commented: “It’s been so lovely joining the team, even if it has only been working from home so far. I’m excited to start working with clients, bringing in great coverage, and getting my teeth stuck into some creative challenges.”
Motive Managing Director Steve McComish said: “I have worked closely with Sarah for a number of years and she is nothing short of a PR legend with fantastic relationships across the national and regional media.
“She really cares about Motive’s clients and goes far beyond the call of duty for them which is one of the reasons why our results are so stunning. I am looking forward to working with her even more closely as the agency’s Head of PR.
“We are all delighted to welcome Josh and Megan. The new skills they bring to the team will be important in supporting the growing demand for digital PR. We are committed to giving our clients the competitive edge online, and to do so, we need to hire and nurture talent.”
